Part of the Knightly Collection, this 2000 Pocket Memory mattress offers comfort that is second to none, with 2000 pocket springs held under tension in their own fabric pockets to provide zoned support, scientifically proven to provide better spinal alignment. Body moulding memory foam responds to your body's temperature for individual comfort and pressure relief where you need it most. The springs in this mattress offer head to toe, edge to edge support for more personal sleep space. This mattress provides a medium comfort.
The memory foam layer allows free movement without disturbance, as the foam quickly recovers to support your body. While individual springs spread weight across the mattress for tailored pressure relief. Nice depth and not to heavy like some mattresses
I have had this a few weeks now and it is so comfy and I don't wake up in pain. At 18 stone I can say It is not to soft and firm enough to not feel like your sinking. I ordered a medium firm mattress 3 Months before this one and I was getting no sleep and was in constant pain. I wholeheartedly recommend this mattress to anyone who has problems with pain. I can now sleep on my side without waking due to pain and I finely get a good night's sleep

Lovely mattress

Memory foam is manufactured using polyurethane and several other chemicals, so it can emit a chemical odor. This “off gassing” of volatile organic compounds is a common and well-documented property of memory foam mattresses such as the Silentnight 2000 Pocket Memory Double Mattress. This off gassing period normally ends after a number of days. There are many factors which can influence this including the product, the type of foam, the sensitivity of the person, the room ventilation and more. Best practice is to completely unpack and air the mattress in a well ventilated room.

This is a lovely, sumptuous mattress but comfort is often very much a personal preference. What I would advise is that memory foam has a different feel and comfort to latex.
